We let authors and children talk and explore imaginations and writing together...

2012 Projects

Australia and UK  March 2012

Aleesah Darlison, Australian author , will be in a Skype conversation with children of Babraham Primary School in the UK. Aleesah will be talking about her latest series, Unicorn Riders, the protectors of the magical yet dangerous kingdom of Avamay.

A great opportunity for children to read exciting new adventures and talk with the author. At this skype conversation we will have lots of chance to talk about the book, how it was written and some ideas about life in Australia.

Our team will bring the children and author together. We have already spent time with the school getting ready. We are on the way to the UK bringing Unicorn Riders first book, Quinn's Riddles for the children to read.

UK and Australia  May 2012

Plan is to work with a UK illustrator and Balgowlah Heights Public School, nr Sydney.  In May we will be back in Sydney to talk with the children about book illustrations  and how they make a difference to the stories.
Join us on this big adventure, find out more on our How it Works page

Joining Up.... as part of the whole project we will create ways that the children can be in touch with each other at their schools...making partners and new friends from one side of the world to the other.
